Pinterest is a Game Changer
Pinterest growth is explosive! The site boast over 11 million visitors per week. The biggest attraction to Pinterest is the ability to organize pins on boards and share information on multiple social networks. You can share your pins online via the web, Facebook, Twitter. If you have an iPhone you can also install the application very quickly and share pins to Twitter and your Facebook timeline. You can also use your pins as inspiration when shopping or putting a perfect outfit together. If your a foodie, you can use Pinterest to pin favorite food and recipes. The possibilities are endless.
Did you know #1 Social Network driving traffic to Pinterest is Facebook? One of the breakthroughs of Pinterest is that is very popular with Facebook users that normally don’t participate in other Social Networking sites such as Twitter. Pinterest is currently the talk of the town.
If you are a blogger, retailer or business you should definitely consider creating a Pinterest account as a way to engage with Pinterest users and drive traffic back to your retail channels. See the attached Infographic for additional details. Are you currently using Pinterest? Why or Why not? How will you creatively using Pinterest?

I still see no use for it.
I do love the ease of use – and being able to share pictures that way is great. I worry about the copyright issues that have been raised, but I don’t now the answers…
I really like it! yes copyright is a problem with all social media… but we can all be respectful and figure it out. it does generate lots of traffic
I love Pinterest…for the ideas and beauty shared….I hope they do come up with a solution for the copyright issue…
I love Pinterest. It has clearly made me a better Mom. I cook more, I am more creative – and that is all I care about. I don’t see it being a huge social media outlet (long-term). Unless you are super crafty, I think it can discourage some people and become a turn-off after awhile.
I’m with everyone on here. These copyright issues are a real concern. I for instance don’t want my images snagged up by some major mag and used for free use. I’ve had them contact me asking and I’ve rejected due to lack of offering payment. If snatching them from Pinterest makes it legal, I’m out of here with my own stuff. Simply not right. I do love pinning and documenting certain areas of my life!
I think it can be great for inspiration. I haven’t had the time to really figure it out…so I use it when I want to take a break and see what others are pinning. Have read that it can refer traffic to blogs…hasn’t happened to me – so I must be doing something wrong.
Will need to research if this translate (no pun intended) to success in Spanish as well.
I love Pinterest Y como todo en Social Media tiene sus contras en cuanto asuntos legales.
I just started using Pinterest…. for my own visual pleasure…. I do have concerns about copyright, but there are concerns about every darn thing these days.
